St Helens Junction, on Merseyside UK, is one of the oldest passenger railway stations in the world. Opened in 1830, it stands where the Sutton Incline (on the old, disused, St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway) stops. It’s also where a long-distance London-St Helens love story started and blossomed.
